Lieutenant-General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, affirmed that the impossible is the idea of \u200b\u200bthe UAE leadership to achieve what cannot be achieved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His Highness added, “The state’s strategy when it was established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, was unwritten, and during the era of empowerment under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, we moved to the planning stage.” The strategy, where we witnessed the first written version in 2008 with objectives and indicators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His Highness pointed out that the UAE, in light of the current international challenges, launched its plan for the next fifty years with its ten principles, because it was this planning, qualification and continuous improvement that enabled us to achieve the impossible in the Emirates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His Highness stressed that the UAE’s achievements cannot be counted, as they are many and successive, so we will address some of these achievements, for example, the Emirates insisted on continuing the march, giving, achievement and excellence during the period of the “Corona” pandemic, and we bear witness to the saying of the founding father, “The land is voluntary for men who have hope.” And we believe that this pandemic is a affliction from the Lord of the worlds, and we have to strive, and God grants success, hence the name of the Emirates as \u201cthe Emirates of the Impossible.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His Highness said, “Many countries during the crisis were attacked by the media rightly and wrongly, and the negative media attacked the UAE and its measures in dealing with the pandemic, but what was achieved on the ground was great, noting that many rumors were repeated at the beginning of the pandemic with a lack of information and ambiguity, which increased panic. And the public\u2019s concern, and this escalated at the economic, social and political levels, and the way to deal with the pandemic has differed between countries, including in a logical and acceptable way, and the other is not.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His Highness continued, “The UAE dealt with the crisis seriously and positively. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, described the pandemic as a crisis and we will overcome it and dazzle the world. His Highness said, “He does not address the internal Emirati achievements in his speech, ‘Emirates of the Impossible’, but rather about the international situation. We have faith that the world has become a small village. The countries of the world are neighbors to each other. Of the countries that involve themselves in the crisis, close their doors and prevent medicine from others, and have not received anyone, including their own people.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here, His Highness affirmed, “In return, the UAE, based on the integrative belief, harnessed its capabilities to deliver aid and relief to all needy countries without discrimination and helped evacuate 5,000 people stranded due to the pandemic, and the humanitarian city opened its doors for all nationalities, and the UAE provided generous gifts through 202 relief planes carrying more than From 2,250\/ tons of aid to 136 countries, and contributed to the construction of 8 hospitals in different countries, 80% of the international response was Emirati, realizing the saying and vision of the leadership, derived from the teachings of our true religion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His Highness said that the best way to assess the success of governments is the satisfaction of society. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said, “The House is Unified,” which means that there is great harmony between the government and the people, and the world has seen many unfortunate results as a result of the gap between government decisions and people’s needs. His Highness showed visual scenes and videos from the reality of the world in comparison to what happened in the UAE in terms of harmony, decisions and correct procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His Highness pointed to the leadership’s keenness and proximity to its people and its belief that a loyal and loyal society always deserves more. His Highness explained that one of the most important pillars of the UAE is the equation of exceptional leadership, positive citizenship and an integrative faith, and it has worked in empowering the family, the pillar of society, including the initiatives of the “Mother of the Knights”, Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, President of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation. His Highness also indicated that the governments of the world set priorities for government spending by focusing on health and the economy in light of the crisis, but we in the UAE, with the vision of leadership and at the height of the crisis, budgets increased and were distributed among different sectors, including, for example, “housing”, for which 19.6 billion dirhams were allocated, an increase of 28 % compared to last year, and the spending in the last 3 years amounted to 52.56 billion on this sector, which is the highest in the world compared to the GDP of countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
