The ‘Digital School’ signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation in Dubai to enhance mutual cooperation and launch innovative initiatives that support the Digital School’s goals of providing education to underprivileged communities worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the partnership, ‘Dubai Awqaf’ announced the launch of the world’s first digital education bonds initiative, aiming to raise AED 50 million annually to support the Digital School’s digital education projects and enhance the sustainability of its positive impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional endowments were also announced to ensure the ongoing and expanding impact, through the allocation of specific projects and engaging potential donors to support education dissemination through this initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The partnership agreement was signed during the ‘World Government Summit 2024’ by His Excellency Ali Al Mutawa, Secretary General of the Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation in Dubai, and Dr. Waleed Al Ali, Secretary General of the Digital School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His Excellency Ali Al Mutawa stated, “Supporting the education sector in communities is a priority for the foundation.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added, “Through continued collaboration with the Digital School, part of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, we aim to provide digital education opportunities to underprivileged students. Hence, we decided to allocate an educational investment endowment whose returns will support the Digital School’s initiatives and projects. Additionally, we are launching an innovative endowment attraction under the ‘Educational Endowment Bonds’ project, with its returns periodically directed to support the Digital School project.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al Mutawa explained that the collaboration with the Digital School aligns with Dubai’s endowment strategy aimed at ensuring the sustainability and impact of endowments, maximizing their returns, and enhancing leadership in endowment work by launching creative global endowment initiatives that contribute to benefiting various communities and reinforcing the human solidarity sought by the UAE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Waleed Al Ali, Secretary General of the Digital School, emphasized that the partnership with the Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation in Dubai reflects the Digital School’s commitment to leveraging innovative experiences in executing unique projects that support the continuity of its initiatives. This partnership contributes to achieving the goal announced by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, to reach one million students worldwide by the end of 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ‘Digital School,’ one of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, aims to provide learning opportunities for students anywhere in the world through a comprehensive, flexible, and accredited digital educational curriculum for various educational stages, tailored to the personal needs of students. It builds on the best educational practices enhanced by advanced digital technologies. The number of beneficiaries of the Digital School has exceeded 100,000 students in eight countries worldwide, with more than 1,500 digital teachers trained and qualified.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
