In 2012, the UAE launched the &#8220;Mohammed bin Rashid Smart Learning Initiative&#8221; to create a new educational environment in schools. This initiative included four main tracks: the first focused on transforming the classroom environment and implementing the concept of smart classrooms using intelligent collaborative software; the second focused on developing advanced electronic infrastructure in all schools; the third focused on developing a set of supplementary educational curricula; and the fourth provided various services to parents to monitor their children&#8217;s academic progress electronically, review their educational projects, provide feedback and suggestions, and exchange information with teachers and school administrations to enhance the role of the home in academic achievement and help parents understand the new educational developments in the school environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result of these efforts, the UAE has established one of the most advanced and developed smart learning systems in the region. This success enabled the country to implement a distinctive remote education approach during the COVID-19 pandemic, which received significant global recognition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To ensure the safety and reliability of this approach, the UAE launched the &#8220;Aqdar Safe Digital Schools&#8221; initiative to establish smart security infrastructure in schools, making the UAE the first country in the world to apply the concept of the digitally safe school to all its public and private schools according to European Union standards for internet safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Global Programs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The impact of the UAE&#8217;s smart educational initiatives extends beyond local borders to the entire world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most prominent initiatives is the &#8220;Digital School Initiative,&#8221; a project of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives. It is the first fully integrated and accredited Arab digital school that provides smart and flexible remote education to students from various social, economic, and educational backgrounds, from any country in the world. This school offers a modern curriculum based on the latest innovation and artificial intelligence technologies, enhancing students&#8217; abilities for self-learning and acquiring knowledge and skills in various fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>International Recognition<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has recommended the &#8220;Madrasa&#8221; platform as a reliable source of quality educational content in Arabic, covering various academic subjects and aligning with both Arab and global curricula. It meets the requirements of remote learning systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UNESCO highlighted that this platform has a strong user base, which enhances its impact and effectiveness. It helps schools and teachers facilitate remote learning for students in Arabic under various circumstances and from any location. UNESCO considers it one of the distinguished and reliable content platforms alongside other open remote learning platforms and applications in the Arab region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The UAE believes that education and the continuity of learning are guarantees for sustained development and progress in nations.
